Decks
Encounter Battle
| Encounter Battle AI Deck
|
This deck mainly makes use of many Imps and their powerful synergies, along with using Camel Crossing to raise their durability. If you see either a Toxic Waste Imp or Imp Commander on the field, try to destroy them as soon as possible before they and other Imps make quick work of your defenses and draw extra cards. Be careful later in the game as well, as she can easily boost all her zombies with Monster Mash. However, most of the zombies here have low base strength, so cards like Whack-a-Zombie can be used before they are boosted.

There are not many threatening cards in this deck aside from Smashing Gargantuar, and the only Amphibious zombie here is Snorkel Zombie, meaning the water lane should be easy for you to take control of. He may start spamming zombies with a Flag Zombie on the field, however.

The only difference between this deck and the Encounter Battle deck is that Swashbuckler Zombies have been replaced with three Barrel Roller Zombies and one extra Monster Mash. Boosting will be slightly more common, and more Imps will be on the field from Barrel Roller Zombie's ability. Otherwise, apply previous strategies here.

There are many pets in this deck, so seeing their strength get boosted by Zookeeper will be very common. As such, the best counter to them is Doom-Shroom, which can wipe them all out when their strength gets too high. Also, the pets can boost Cat Lady.

Boss Battle
| Boss Battle AI Deck
|
The final deck in this mission has many tricks that can ruin your strategies such as Smoke Bomb and Backyard Bounce, which can allow zombies to directly damage your hero. Try to take out the zombies she plays as soon as possible before they can wreck havoc upon your hero. Like previous battles, however, most of her zombies still have low base strength, meaning Whack-a-Zombie can still be applied here for the most part. And at the same time, Neptuna can EASILY destroy your plants with the single Zombot Sharktronic Sub that she has in her hand, so be prepared if she plays it.

Trivia
- In the old version comic, in the second comic last panel, Grass Knuckles mask is missing, probably because a Octo-Pet stole it.
- The name "Legion of Bloom" on the comic book cover is a reference to the DC Comics super villain team, the Legion of Doom, while the cover itself is a reference to the first issue of the Legend of Aquaman comic book series.
- This mission is inspired by / a reference to Big Wave Beach from Plants Vs. Zombies 2, having the same theme of being on the beach of a tropical island.
- The mission’s map has sandcastles & a flag with a brain on it, similar to Flag Zombie’s flag. This is in reference to how people make sandcastles on the beach & stick flags in them.
- The arena has 3 surfboards off to the side, showing Peashooter, Wall-Nut & Cherry Bomb respectively. They are also colored in their respective color palettes.
- The missions map, arena & comic cover art was designed & drawn by Karin Madan.
