Junkyard Ambush!

Junkyard Ambush! is the second mission for the plants side in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes. The main opposing zombie hero for this mission is Rustbolt. This mission also features the Z-Mech and Immorticia as the other opposing zombie heroes. The mission takes place in a junkyard filled with old cars, car tires, oil barrels & zombot parts.

Plot (Spoilers)

On this mission, Green Shadow, Solar Flare and Spudow have come to the junkyard to search for a new wheel to replace Penny's flat tire. However, Rustbolt also happened to be there to gather components for his armor, and they fight. Spudow briefly flees but returns in an electromagnetic crane and activates it, trapping Rustbolt while Green Shadow and Solar Flare retrieve the tire they need.

Encounter Battle

The only tricks he has are Rolling Stones and Beam Me Up. So boosting Paparazzi Zombie will not be much of a concern. The only true threats are Pool Sharks and Bucketheads.

Teammate Battle (I)

This is a weak deck. Z-Mech will attempt to use Terrify and Sumo Wrestler on a plant to move it to Arm Wrestler's lane. Other than that, there is no actual threat. Just be careful of Orchestra Conductor as he can boost all zombies's strength.

Mini-Boss Battle

Same as the Encounter battle. However, he now has Landscaper which will make more plants vunerable to Rolling Stone. Other than that, he will still be easy to take down.

Teammate Battle (II)

This deck is super weak. Her only true threat is B-Flat, which can be reduced by having a lot of plants on the field. Also, most if not all her zombies can be killed by using Sour Grapes or Scorched Earth.

Boss Battle

Unlike your regular deck, the AI now has the ability to use 5 of the same cards, which is Rolling Stone. You should use stronger plants so they cannot be destroyed. In case of late game, he can use Bucketheads and his single Shieldcrusher Viking, which can wipe you and your block meter out if you're not prepared.
