Level 4-8
Level 4-8 is the thirty-eighth level in Plants vs. Zombies, Plants vs. Zombies: Endless Edition, and Plants vs. Zombies: Great Wall Edition, and is the seventh of the Fog levels, being a regular level. When this level is beaten for the first time, the player obtains the Magnet-shroom.
Difficulty
- In this level, the player is introduced to the Pogo Zombie, which is capable of easily jumping over their plants, except Tall-nuts. This zombie also uses fog to its advantage to get through the player's defenses faster, so clearing the fog out is one of the first things the player should do.
Strategies
- Required plants:
- Sun-shroom
- Puff-shroom
- Torchwood
- Repeater
- Squash
- Lily Pad
- Tall-nut (if you have seven seed slots)
- Plantern (if you have eight seed slots)
- Pumpkin (if you have nine seed slots)
- Plant Sun-shrooms and Puff-shrooms for an easy defense at first.
- Try to plant as many Split Peas evenly on every lane for maximum damage to Pogo Zombies. When the Pogo Zombie jumps over a Split Pea, the Split Pea will deal double damage to it, killing it faster. To double the damage, plant Torchwoods behind and in front of the Split Peas.

If you do not have enough sun for Tall-nut, you can still plant Squash ahead of the Pogo Zombie to eliminate him
Two Scaredy-shrooms and two Puff-shrooms are more than enough to take out the Pogo Zombie. However, I used Jalapeno on the second pool lane because there were too much zombies on that lane.
