Game Modes

Adventure Mode

There are many "chapters" in this new Adventure: Garden Defender (original), Defending Again (second adventure), Journey to the West and The Great Wall (new chapter with Great Wall and Social Edition features); more chapters are planed to be added in future updates to expand the game.

The Adventure Mode is very similar to the original one but with some unlocking tweaks, plus of this Roof is not the final area anymore. There are new areas in this game: first one is Snow, being a playable version of Night Roof but with ice mecanics, Flood and TBA as aditional areas, TBA to TBA and finally TBA to finally fight against Dr. Zomboss.

In Defending Again Dr. Zomboss came for revenge, TBA.

In this version you can replay Adventure levels like in Free, the menu is very similar to the mini-games menu.

Flood

Flood is the eigth area in the Adventure Mode of PvZ: Special Edition. It is backyard of the house like in Pool and Fog, but due of an accident (probably made by the zombies), the lawn is flooded and the Pool is covered by some collapsed earth.

This area was completely water-logged with sun falling in a serpentine pattern rather than directly down, and plants requiring the aid of Oxygen Algae to remain planted. When not in the vicinity of an Oxygen Algae, plants will slowly drown and take damage until either defeated or when an Oxygen Algae is planted nearby.

Some projectiles will have a visual effect, this doesn't affect gameplay.

Many plants are unusable underwater like:

The mini-game here is Fast Currents, is similar to a scrapped mini-game from the Chinese version of PvZ2. Here ocean currents will randomly appear in some lines, this currents will make zombies slower and projectiles faster or vice versa,

Snow

Snow is the equivalent of "Night Roof", like its name says here is snow and plants can freeze like in Frostbite Caves. (TBA)
