Resilience
Resilience is a mechanic added in the v3.2.8 update of the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2, first seen with the Elite zombies of Frostbite Caves Resurgence.
There are several types of resiliences a zombie can hold, being Fire, Cold, Magic, Lightning, Poison, and Physical. The resilience protects the zombie from most damage alongside all status effects until it is depleted, requiring attacks of that resilience's type to diminish it (for example, fiery damage is needed to damage fire resilience). Upon fully depleting the resilience bar, the zombie will be stunned and take full damage from all attacks as it passively regenerates its resilience, after which it resumes attacking as usual.
