Premium Seeds - Starfruit! is an Epic Quest that features five(before 2020 it was eight steps) of the Premium Plant Quest of the Starfruit. It lasted from May 30th, 2017 to June 6th, 2017, October 2nd, 2018 to October 9th, 2018, January 13, 2020 to January 20, 2020, March 4, 2020 to March 18, 2020, and January 13, 2021 to January 20, 2021. The reward is a Premium Pinata that contains 50 Seed packets. (Before 2021, it was 50 Seed Packets for Starfruit (80 before 2020).

Step 1

Citrons can easily defeat tough zombies such as: Buckethead Zombies, Pharaoh Zombies, and Gargantuars easily, but Tombstones act as an obstacle, which need to be destroyed in order to damage zombies. Starfuit will be helpful since it can attack Tombstone from all direction, making them easily to destroy. Repeater can also aid Citron when charging to damage Tombstones and zombies. Barrel Roller Zombie can act as a problem, since most attacking plant here are front-forward, using there attack to damage Barrel and can crush plants. Use Plant Food on Citron to clear out a lane full of zombies.

Waves

The small number next to the zombie icon means that zombie will always appear in that lane, with 1 being the topmost lane and 5 being the bottommost lane.

Step 2

Clearing out Tombstone, should be the first thing to do when the level begin since they take up a lot of space. Use Laser Bean to clear out the Tombstone since it can easily damage. Bonk Choy should be used to damage zombies close by, Poncho Zombie can be a problem since there is a chance that he might have a Poncho. In those cases, try to stall him as much as possible. Plant Food is given a lot in this level, so use it on Laser Bean since it provides the best damage. Spikerock also deals good damage, however Seagull Zombie will not be damage. As the level ends, there will be plenty of Gargantuars, so be prepared.

Step 3

Starfruit is very important in order to easily clear out Jetpack Zombies or Disco Jetpack Zombies being summoned from Disco-tron 3000 . Place Infi-nuts in front of Starfruit so that zombies will be stalled and Starfruits can damage them constantly, Spikeweed also damages zombies while being stalled, so place them on the tiles after the Infi-nut. However Gargantuar Prime will easily dispose this plant. Place Starfruit on Power Tile since when feed plant food they can damage zombies wherever they are on the lawn and also cause a Plant Food chain reaction. Use E.M.Peach to disable Disco-tron 3000 and Gargantuar Prime, to stall them and finish them of with Cherry Bomb, but it is better to be used when hoards of Jetpack Zombies or Disco Jetpack Zombies are close to your house.

Step 4

Octo Zombie is a very serious threat in this level, since they can wrap up plants in octopus and due to Starfruit's ability of damaging zombies and from different directions, it can be helpful, but projectiles cannot reach other zombies close to the house because the octopus is blocking them. When you see Octo Zombies right away, destroy them with Banana Launcher so that they can't throw octopus. Banana launcher is also very helpful in clearing out Tombstones in this level as well as tombstones summoned from Tomb Raiser Zombie, but its better for Starfruit to damage tombstones so that you can use Banana Launcher on more dangerous threats. Keep in mind, that you only get three Banana Launcher's in this level, so be wise when selecting what zombie to destroy. However, digging up the Banana after you launch it and replace will make it easier, so that you can always launch bananas. There will also be sandstorms of zombies, Starfruit can deal them but if they are to close then use Banana Launcher. Use Plant Food on Banana Launcher to clear out zombies.

Step 5

Prospector Zombie is the most dangerous zombie in the level, since he can jump to the other side of the lawn and trigger the endangered Iceberg Lettuce and cause you to loose the level. When you see hoards of them, use Plant Food on Iceberg Lettuce to extinguish the flames and stall zombies. Chicken Wrangler Zombie is also a huge threat, since most of the plants are are not good at tackling Zombie Chickens and can eat them and trigger the Iceberg Lettuce, once again Iceberg Lettuce Plant Food effect will be helpful. Gargantuar's are also a problem since they can launch their Imps all the way to the third column and can easily trigger Iceberg , same with Zombie Bull as they can easily charge through your defense. Trying making Bull to launch in the farthest column from the lawn so that they will not be launch their Imps too close to the Iceberg Lettuce. Bowling Bulb should be use for multiple targets, since Cowboy Zombies will switch lanes when there are Pianist Zombie. Using Plant Food on Bowling Bulbs is really helpful since they can easily destroy huge groups of zombies, use Starfruit as a backup to deal damage to zombies and to Prospector Zombie if their dynamites explode. Magnet-shroom is good to use to remove Buckets and Poncho, making them easy to destroy without armor.
