Epic Quest: Headbutter Lettuce!
Epic Quest: Headbutter Lettuce! is an Epic Quest that features five levels for Headbutter Lettuce. The reward is a Premium Piñata that contains 50 Seed packets for Headbutter Lettuce.
=Step 1
This level is extremely dangerous because of how many Tombstones are covering the whole lawn, and since Headbutter Lettuce can only attack 1 tile in the front or back at a time, it will take a while to clear all of the Tombstones which prevents you from planting more Headbutter Lettuces to easily defeat zombies. Octo Zombie is another big threat, since he can easily wrap them up from a far distance, and Headbutter Lettuces can't damage the Octopus if he is being overwhlemed, which is common since there are huge amounts of Roman Shield triads in this level. However, because of Headbutter Lettuce's powerful attack, strong health, and ability to butter, he can easily destroy all the zombies near him and damage any nearby octopuses. Take caution though, as the Octo Zombies will wrap up more plants by then. Prospector Zombie is not a problem, since he jumps all the way to the other side of the lawn, where Headbutter Lettuce can attack as well. Tomb Raiser Zombie can be a problem by spawning more Tombstones on empty tile, so always plant a Headbutter Lettuce on empty tiles to mitigate this issue. There will be Necromancies of zombies, so many Headbutter Lettuces should be used to tackle these zombies or destroy straggling Tombstones. Don't be surprised if you loose Lawn Mowers, since it is pretty common to lose them in swarms of Octo Zombies. However, there is still the chance that Headbutter Lettuce can butter him, which can stall and prevent him from wrapping up plants. If necessary, use Plant Food on a Headbutter Lettuce, to clear out crowds and stun surviving zombies.
Dialogue
Penny: Plant Headbutter Lettuce to bash and butter zombies.
Waves
- The small number next to the zombie icon means that zombie will always appear in that lane, with 1 being the topmost lane and 5 being the bottommost lane.
Step 2
Because of Headbutter Lettuce's short attacking range, it will be challenging to destroy Imp Cannons, which can easily overwhelm you with Pirate Imps. Lightning Reed is very helpful in not only attacking zombies from far range, but also having crowd-control capabilities from is attacking ability, which'll damage multiple zombies at the same time. Hunter Zombie can easily freeze plants from a far distance, but because of how powerful Headbutter Lettuce is, he can easily destroy the ice of any frozen plants. Cherry Bomb is very useful for easily destroying tough zombies such as Centurion Zombies, but keep in mind that the lank of planks in lanes 2 and 4 means that it can't efficiently deal damage in a 3-by-3 area. Do note that the presence Seagull Zombies and Pelican Zombies can decimate your setup very quickly, so plant Pumpkins on top of plants (preferably Headbutter Lettuce) to protect them from being eaten, while any butter launched by Headbutter Lettuce can easily defeat the aforementioned threats. Spikeweed will be very helpful against Barrel Roller Zombie so that that Barrels are destroyed instantly to prevent them from further crushing plants. Gargantuar Primes will appear in every plank row during the final wave, so plant them Cherry Bombs in in lanes 2 or 3 when they reach column 5, so that two Gargantuar Primes can be impacted at a time, while Headbutter Lettuce can easily destroy them. Use any additional Plant Food on Headbutter Lettuce to stall zombies and deal great damage, but just make sure that the zombies are within its range. Headbutter Lettuces should also be planted in columns 2, 3, or 4 so that any Bug Bot Imps launched from Gargantuar Prime will be destroyed.

Step 3
This level very very challenging. First of all, Tombstones will constantly spawn every wave and push back any plants that are planted to column 3 (or off the lawn completely if there are no tiles available), so plant Headbutter Lettuce in nearby columns to destroy these Tombstones. Pterodactyls will carry Jurassic Conehead Zombies, Amberhead Zombies, and Jurassic Rockpuncher then drop them on the other side of the lawn to destroy your defences from behind. Normally, Headbutter Lettuce will defeat Jurassic Conehead Zombie with ease, but Amberhead Zombie and Jurassic Rockpuncher have high health. The latter is especially a threat, as he can also scorch tiles too, leaving it undefended. The best way to get rid of them is to use Shrinking Violet, so that the Pterodactyls cannot carry them. However, if they managed to be carried to the other side, then plant some Potato Mines on where they land, so that they will be defeated as soon as they land. You can also use Tumbleweed to knock the zombies back or possibly them flick away. Deep Gargantuars will spawn in every wave, so you'll have to rely on Headbutter Lettuce to easily defeat them, with Shrinking Violet being able to help by easily shrinking them, which makes it much easier for Headbutter Lettuce or Potato Mine to destroy or reduce their health dramatically. Additionally, Headbutter Lettuce can butter the Deep Sea Gargantuars, providing more time to destroy them, so use Tumbleweed during this tike to knock them back which should along with flicking away other zombies such as Pirate Captain Zombies (as well as the summoned Zombie Parrots) and Surfer Zombies. Keep in mind that Explorer Zombie can instantly burn Headbutter Lettuce (unless the latter was placed behind the former), and he can't destroy him from afar due to his short range, so it's best to flick him off with Tumbleweed. Zcorpion Zombie can also be a problem by summoning zombies through vases which can instantly destroy plants upon impact, so try your best to stall him with Headbutter Lettuce stunning him, though don't focus all of your firepower on the Zcorpion Zombies since he will eventually self-destruct, so just plant close enough to him so that he won't launch vases very far. All-Star Zombie can easily tackle your plants, so just sacrifice some of your plants to avoid them from destroying any important ones. Use plant food on Headbutter Lettuce to destroy some close zombie (which is also helpful against Gargantuar or backwards-facing zombies) or use it on Potato Mine to duplicate and instantly arm itself to detonate and damage more zombies.

Step 4
The biggest problem in this level is protecting the endangered Squash, where if a zombies enter's it range then Squash will squash on him and thus disappearing which makes you loose the level. Primal Wall-nut will be a very helpful plant in preventing zombies from entering it lanes, however keep in mind that zombies can also be dropped off by Pterodactyl, and since Squash can also attack behind then he will also squash backward zombies to, so also plant Primal Wall-nut in the back, the endangered Hot Date can attract zombies from the endangered lanes, but this is unlikely because they have to be in the Squash range to be attracted and by then Squash would already have disappear. Having a level 3 or higher Squash can work because after squashing the first zombie, he won't disappear but only after squashing the second time, you can also use Enforce-mint to make him last several squashing as well as boost Headbutter which can easily prevent zombies from entering the Squash range, Split Pea is also helpful since he can attack with more firepower behind, which can easily damage weak zombies dropped off, stronger zombies such as: Jurassic Fossilhead, Amberhead Zombie, or Jurassic Bully should be taken care of by Headbutter Lettuce, make sure they are being stalled by Primal-Wall nut. Jurassic Rockpuncher is a big problem because he can easily destroy and scorch tiles, he is even more dangerous when dropped off by pterodactyl. Primal-wall nut can withstand 3 attacks, so be sure to replace him before his final withstanding. Dodo Rider Zombie can also fly over Primal-wall nut, which make him useless, use Headbutter Lettuce to easily destroy him. Keep note that Headbutter Lettuce can also butter zombies, which prevents them from moving which is helpful against strong zombies. Use Plant Food on Split Pea or Headbutter Lettuce (make sure he is in column 1,2,or 3) to easily destroy backward zombies if they are close, or on Squash to destroy groups of zombies, prefer with Enforce-mint to deal stronger squashing and longer duration.

Step 5
The frozen Snap Pea will be very helpful in the first few waves, so that you can focus on sun production, plant the Level 10 Headbutter Lettuce to defrost the frozen Snap Pea and focus on sun production. The Level 10 Headbutter Lettuce will be very helpful because of its strong damage, it can easily destroy tough zombies such as: Poncho Zombie and Knight Zombie, teamed up with Enforce-mint it will be very strong and can easily even take out Jurassic Gargantuar's. However, Frozen blocks are a serious problem because the take up most of the lawn, and worse Troglobite can push these blocks and easily crush plants. The player should use Hot Potato or plant that has a warming radius so that they can defrost these Ice blocks, be sure to have Headbutter Lettuce ready to easily destroy the defrosted zombies. It is not recommended to not use straight-shooting plants because of Jester since he can deflect the projectiles and damage plants, other zombies such as: Tomb Raiser Zombie, Surfer Zombie, and Zombie Medusa also shows why you should not use straight shooting plants, in the most case Headbutter Lettuce can easily take care most of the zombies here, try having explosive such as: Cherry Bomb or Primal Potato Mine to clear out some crowds so that Headbutter Lettuce won't be over overwhelm, Iceberg Lettuce can be helpful in blowing out Prospector Zombie dynamite so that he won't jump to the other side of the lawn, and if he manages then Headbutter can easily destroy him. Try your best to use Snap Pea on Zombie Medusa because once Snap Pea spits out the head, it can stonify zombies in a 3 by 3 area which is very helpful. Use Plant Food on Headbutter Lettuce to deal great damage or instant-recharge Enforce-mint to easily strengthen Snap Pea and Headbutter Lettuce. Blover is another helpful option since it can blow away Blastronaut Zombie.
