From Plants vs. Zombies Wiki
Cosmic Nut is a galactic rare plant card in Plants vs. Zombies Heroes and a member of the Guardian class. He costs 4 to play and has 3/3. He does not have any traits, and his ability Conjures a nut card when he is played, and sets its strength to 3. The latter ability persists even after the Conjured nut has been Bounced.
Origins
His appearance is based on Wall-Nut.
His name is a combination of "cosmic" and "nut," referring to his appearance.
His description refers to how he has 3 strength and 3 health, as well as making the Conjured Nut card have 3 strength.

Strategies
With
Despite having somewhat mediocre stats, this plant is one of the better cosmic plants released in this set, due to its ability (in this case, conjuring a nut of any kind) being reliable regardless of what nut you conjure (with the exception of Smackadamia, Three-Nut, and Loco Coco) since a common issue with nut fighters is their lack of strength, making them susceptible to cards like Rolling Stone, Weed Spray, Chum Champion, and Slammin' Smackdown. Even after you use his ability, he is still good fodder for Mirror-Nut, and if you are playing as Citron or Beta-Carotina, you can bounce him with Rescue Radish to play him again. The conjured card's cost can also decrease via Captain Cucumber (Grass Knuckles), or allow your Dino-Roar cards to increase in strength and/or activate their special abilities. However, Cosmic Nut himself is vulnerable to Slamming Smackdown and Knockout, as well as Squirrel Herder due to him being in the nut tribe. He can also activate Quickdraw Con-Man's ability, so please be wary.
Against
There is nothing you can do to stop him from activating his ability, and Bouncing the Conjured nut does not help either, as the nut's strength becomes 3 permanently.
You don't really need to destroy Cosmic Nut itself, you should rather focus on the plant the opponent conjured. Damaging tricks like Bungee Plumber or Exploding Fruitcake can take care of the plant. Or even better, Knockout can potentially take out Cosmic Nut and the nut conjured at the same time.
Like other cosmic plants, another way is to have a Quickdraw Con Man on the field to make the opponent think twice before playing him, as he will deal 1 unblockable damage to the plant hero once he Conjures a card.
