Dialogue (Intro)
(Crazy Dave and Penny appear)
Crazy Dave: Is that guy with a furnace trying to lose weight?
Penny: That's Furnace Zombie, he explodes after some time.
Crazy Dave: Can I go and ask if he feels tired?
Penny: In theory, he won't feel any tiredness.
Penny: Ice plants can delay the time of it exploding.
(Crazy Dave and Penny leave)
Difficulty
This is where Furnace Zombie makes his first appearance. While his ability may sound deadly, he can explode on cheap fodder plants such as Puff-shroom. The only actual threat you have to worry are the Buckethead Labor Zombies.

Strategies
- Start off by planting sun producers.
- Try to secure the two entrance sewers, as zombies will immediately go to the third column if left unguarded.
- To deal with Furnace Zombie, just plant something as cheap as a Sunflower on the tile he's at. If that's not an option, chilling him down with something like Snow Peas can at least mitigate any possible losses caught in his explosion or even cause him to eat if he's chilled enough.
- Fire plants increase Furnace Zombie's explosion radius, so try to avoid using them.
