Frostbite Caves - Day 3 is the third level of Frostbite Caves in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2. The Hurrikale is introduced in this level When this level is finished for the first time, the player gets a star and coins..

In normal mode, the player has to defeat Frotbite Cave zombies at level 1.

Difficulty

Just like in the International version, this level is about stalling as many zombies as possible with Hurrikale. The player has to be careful with where to place Peashooters and Repeaters though.

The small number next to the zombie icon means that zombie will always appear in that lane, with 1 being the topmost lane and 5 being the bottommost lane.

Strategies

• Hurrikale should be used at zombies when they're on the topmost row
• Spikeweeds should be placed at the topmost row.
• Plant Peashooters and Repeaters on the topmost row to defeat zombies quicker.

Difficulty

With zombies at levels 3-4, the player should consider upgrading their plants to level 3. Upgraded Spikeweeds should be able to help with the stall as they can temporarily stun zombies.

Strategies

• Do as what you did in normal mode, but with a few adjustments;
  • The player has to be careful with upgraded Repeaters as its occasional fire peas don't synergize with Hurrikale's chilling.
