Plants in PvZ1
This user gives the Peashooter a 6/10 rating because It's useful in the beginning, but replaying makes it better to just use kernal-pults.
This user gives the Sunflower a 9/10 rating because How could I not like the sunflower? She is the mascot and is REQUIRED on every level, with Night, Fog, and Last Stand levels being an exception.
This user gives the Cherry Bomb a 4/10 rating because I just use Cob cannons because they're basically reusable cherry bombs.
This user gives the Wall-nut a 5/10 rating because I'd rather use tall nuts.
This user gives the Potato Mine a 3/10 rating because He's only really good in the beginning of a level. Otherwise, Squash is much better.
This user gives the Snow Pea a 7.5/10 rating because I am a huge fan of slowdown, so I love this plant. However, it becomes effectively useless when you get Winter Melon and Ice-shroom.
This user gives the Chomper a 8/10 rating because Re-usable instant kills are always good. Great for imps. However, without a pumpkin or a (W/T)all nut, he's incredibly vulnerable.
This user gives the Repeater a 8.5/10 rating because Great space saver, good damage, upgrades to the awesome Gatling Pea.
This user gives the Puff-shroom a 8.7/10 rating because Its free price and fast recharge makes it a good choice.
This user gives the Sun-shroom a 6.5/10 rating because She (I see her as a girl.) is good for night levels, but nowhere else. Her small sun is really annoying.
This user gives the Fume-shroom a 8/10 rating because His AoE is really good, and he upgrades into Gloom Shroom.

Grave buster:7/10. Goood, but only for 10 levels.
Hypno-shroom:5/10 only good for the first football zombie. that's about it.
Scaredy-shroom: 7/10 misunderstood plant. sure it hides, but it never was a problem to me.
Ice-shroom:9.5/10 Cobless strategies are hopless without this.
Doom-hroom:8.6/10 DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!
Lily Pad:9/10 You know the reasons.
Squash: 8/10. *insertluigifan0001jokehere* kills multiple zombies and isn't lazy.
Threepeater:1.2/10 WHY WOULD YOU USE THIS!? WHY NOT PLANT 3 KERNEL PULTS INSTEAD!?
Tangle Kelp:6.5/10. aquatic potato mine that isn't lazy. also looks cool in imitater form.
Jalapeno/Chili pepper:8.5/10 Much better than cherry bomb. destroys an entire lane!
Spikeweed:6.5/10 Kills veichle zombies.
Torchwood:9/10 Part of a really really strong cobless SE strategy, and torches peas, making them much better.
Tall-nut:9/10 rarely gets eaten.
Sea-shroom:0.5/10 way too slow recharge time, I'd rather use puff-shrooms on lily pads. What did you say? You can get 6 before a pool zombie comes? That makes it even worse. You can build up sun for a gloom-shroom before the first pool zombie. So you don't even need Sea-shrooms.
Plantern:8/10 Very misunderstood plant. Removes fog permanently, and can be protected with garlic (And pumpkin, but garlic protects it better)
Cactus:1/10 useless space waster. Cattail is much better.
Blover:0/10 I honestly find this to be the worst plant in the game. it can remove fog, but plantern can do so too, and is cheaper and removes it permanently. it can rid balloons, but Cattails are better.
Split pea: 4/10 When you get Gloom-shroom... adiós, el split pea.
Starfruit: 3.5/10 Almost EVERYONE hates it, and I can see why. it shoots so awkwardly, and only good in SS.
Pumpkin: 9/10 Saves room.
Magnet-shroom: 7/10 least favorite of the plants I like, but it can stop annoying diggers, make football zombies feel like wimps, and other thing with a quick cooldown of 15 seconds! useless in SE though because 0of the many zombies.
Cabbage-pult:6.1/10 too generic.
Flower pot:9/10 no reasons needed.
Kernel-pult:8.5/10 favorite pult besides Winter melon. just as cheap as Cabbage-pult, but throws paralyzing butter, which can be really useful. Cabbage-pults are too generic, and Melon-pults are a bit too expensive.
Coffee bean:9/10 you can't use Gloom-shroom without it!
Garlic:3.5/10 50/50 chance besides pool levels. and cannot have WNFA.
Umbrella leaf:2/10 Sometimes useless as sometimes it's not worth planting.
marigold:7.5/10 Easiest money with my money farming strategy.
Melon-pult:8.2/10 ah, melon-pult. you are out last plant we'll ever get in no-upgrade runs. heavy damage, splash damage, and just a great plant. only problem? too expensive.
Gatling pea: 9/10 Quite strong. with torchwood, zombies don't stand a chance.
Twin Sunflower:8.5/10 double sun! though 2 sunflowers are cheaper.
Gloom-shroom: 10/10 Extremely powerful. shoots in 8 directions, 4 at a timw, and a force to be reckoned with when chained wth garlic.
Cattail:10/10 The greatest plant in the game. Can shoot anywhere, pops balloons, and shoots 2 at a time.
Spikerock:8/10 Can't stall gargs without them.
Gold Magnet: 3.5/10 useless unless in SE or there's marigolds.Even worse in DS and iPad because DS has a smaller screen making it easier to collect coins, and iPad has multitap compatabilities.
Winter melon: 9.5/10 makes Snow pea look bad, splash damage, a lot of damage. and the freezing effect. dead without it in SE.
Cob Cannon: 10/10 reusable cherry bomb. totally good.
Imitater: anywhere between 0/10 and 9/10.
Explode-o-nut: 8/10
Giant wall-nut: 9/10
Plants in PvZ2

This user gives the Iceberg Lettuce a 10/10 rating because Oh my gosh, this plant has saved my brains on so many occasions that it isn't even funny. Iceberg lettuce is a free, efficient staller. Sure, its load time is slow, but placing one of these things on the field, and you have some good free time to set up. It DOES get useless after a while, but early level, this thing is a lifesaver.
This user gives the Bonk Choy a 7/10 rating because it's good for some early levels, but in the challenge levels, it's useless.
This user gives the Bloomerang a 3/10 rating because its only real purpose to use it over Snapdragon is because it has better range and takes out graves better. Even then, there's the Grave Buster, which takes care of the graves for free. So after you get the Grave Buster, the Bloomerang won't put any good use.
This user gives the Snapdragon a 10/10 rating because Back then, I found this plant useless, and inferior to Bloomerang. Once I used it in the second pinata party, everything changed. I use the Snapdragon almost all the time now. The only problem I find with this guy is how he removes the frost/freeze effect from zombies, which is sad, since I use the iceberg lettuce a lot.
This user gives the Citron a 15/10 rating because YES! YEEEEEEEEEES! YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES! BEST PLANT EVER!!!!!!
This user gives the Magnifying Grass a -335/10 rating because Let's see... Magnifying Grass takes 50 sun to shoot a bolt that pulls a cone and an arm off of a Conehead Zombie. a Squash costs 50 sun, and crushes all zombies below Pharaoh. A Blover costs 50, has a fast recharge, and kills all flying zombies in the screen. A Sunflower costs 50, and refunds after one sun. There are so much better things to do with 50 sun, and that is why Magnifying Grass is my least favorite plant in the series.
