Divide by Nero - Level 2
Divide by Nero - Level 2 is the second level of the Divide by Nero event in Penny's Pursuit. It takes place in Pirate Seas and is similar to Pirate Seas - Day 26. It has new objectives and zombie swaps, similar to other Penny's Pursuit levels. In addition to the zombie swaps, there are also some newly added zombies.
Difficulty
This level somewhat shares the difficulty of its original counterpart. While that may be true for the Mild and Spicy difficulties, Extra Hot is a different story. With more dangerous zombies, the lanes can get easily get overrun by them.

Bonus Objectives
In Penny's Pursuit, levels have bonus objectives that can be completed to level up Penny Perks.
Mild Bonus Objective
- Defeat 2 Zcorpions.
Spicy Bonus Objectives
- Defeat 3 Zcorpions.
- Never have more than 25 plants
Extra Hot Bonus Objectives
- Defeat 4 Zcorpions.
- Never have more than 15 plants.

- The small number next to the zombie icon means that zombie will always appear in that lane, with 1 being the topmost lane and 5 being the bottommost lane.

Strategies
(contains seedium content) Strategy 1:
- I present a highly risky strategy that will allow the player to meet the don't have more than 15 plants objective. Use zombie-gone perk.
- Plants needed:
- Plant Sun-shrooms on 1st and 2nd column, starting with 2nd column, asap. Hopefully you will be able to accumulate as much sun as possible.
- Blow away the first 2 Raiding Parties. Immediately blow away the 2nd wave of raiding parties, pausing would also blow away the Seagull Zombies in the first wave and you would not want that!
- For the first wave, use Spring Bean to defeat the Flag Pirate Zombie. Stall for as long as possible then blow away the Seagull Zombies. At the same time, start planting Chard Guards at C3,4R1 and C3,4R5.
- When the first Imp Cannon comes, keep planting the Chard Guards. At the same time, dig away the Sun-shrooms at R2. Kill the Imps with Chard Guards and Explode-O-Nuts.
- Blow away the Raiding Party at wave 5, to usher in the next wave.
- During the 2nd wave, quickly plant Explode-O-Nuts at C8R1 and C8R5. 2 explosions are required to defeat an Imp Cannon. Take note of that. If an Imp Cannon is about to lyse and release tons of Imps, quickly use Blover, otherwise be prepared to use power-ups.
- Keep blowing all air-borne zombies asap, only pausing to replenish the Chard Guards. Collect the first Plant Food at wave 8. What you are doing is to "trick" the game to move to the next wave, so that you can use Spring Bean plant food to insta-kill most zombies, but make sure that these zombies are at C5 to 9.
- Fortunately, you will receive one more Plant Food in wave 10. Start planting Explode-O-Nuts at the first 3 rows to deal with the imps. Plant Chard Guards + blover on R6 to defeat the gargantuars and other zombies. Dig up the chard guards at C4 so you won't exceed the plant limit.
- For the final wave, use Spring Bean's Plant Food effect to win, but not before letting the Gargantuars smash the Explode-O-Nuts twice to kill the Imp Cannons at R1,2,4,5. Use Chard Guards to push the Gargantuars back to smash the Explode-O-Nut again.
- Keep watching out for the imp cannons at R3 and use blover if necessary.
- For the first 2 difficulties, you can use my Snapdragon strategy I wrote in Pirate Seas - Day 26, but this might not work for the hardest difficulty as the zombies are too tough for the Snapdragons. (unless if your Snapdragons are at mastery levels or sth.)
