This category consists of the playable characters in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare, Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 and Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville.

Almost every playable character has a class tied to them, common with many role-playing games. The Foot Soldier and Peashooter serve as basic soldiers, and are basic all-rounders. The Scientist and Sunflower serve as the clerics, meant to heal allies should they take damage. The All-Star serves as the heavy class, designed to deal massive amounts of damage quickly with a high fire rate attack. The Chomper serves as the brawler, and is designed to deal massive damage with melee attacks. The Engineer serves as a tactician, and uses attacks which interfere with the plants' abilities. Finally, Cactus serves as the sniper, designed to damage the enemy from a great distance with high damage, yet slow, attacks.
