Fire Rose is the Rare fire variant of Rose in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. Like any other fire-based character, the Fire Rose sacrifices some of her damage for the ability to ignite enemies upon a successful hit.
Fire Rose is scorching hot. No really, she accidentally set fire to Crazy Dave's garage last week. But if you thought her Scorching Scepter was effective against recreational vehicles, wait until you see it take out a squadron of Zomboss' finest.
Character selection screen description
Hold down fire to charge her Scorching Scepter. Each charge level deals more fire damage than the last!
Fire Rose's primary weapon is the Scorching Scepter. It can be charged up to deal more damage at the cost of ammo. Uncharged shots only deal 5 damage and can only be spammed up to 300 rpm; but if half charged, she'll fire 2 orbs that deal 15 damage each at the cost of 3 ammo; and if full charged, she'll fire a huge spinning orb of blue flames that deals a collosal 50 damage, but consumes 6 ammo. Each shot sets the enemy on fire, dealing 4 or 5 damage for 3.75s.
Psychedelic Goats don't last quite as long as their normal counterparts, but they are much harder to control.

Strategies
Fire Rose's basic shots do less damage than the regular Rose, in exchange for setting targets on fire upon a successful hit. Similar to the Frost Rose, she can charge up her primary weapon. Stage 1 of charging allows Rose to fire 2 shots, each doing 15 damage as well as igniting the target. A fully charged shot will deal 50 damage as well as ignite the target (dealing 70 damage and 75 with the fire upgrade equipped). This means that Rose can charge a shot behind cover and then come out to finish of an injured foe or deal a heavy amount of damage. Preferably, you should use half charged shots for the most situations, but use fully charged shots to start or end a fight. Like Druid Rose, her homing activates earlier than most Rose variants.
If you have the Homing and Fire Upgrades combined, her fully charged shot will guarantee a vanquish if it hits an Imp (depending on if they have the health upgrade). Even Scientists, Soldiers, Engineers and Pirates will lose a lot of health if they're hit by one.
Her primary weapon is the only one that can charge shots and deal fire damage.
When she jumps, she is the only rose that makes a different sound.
If you are another character, and is close to another player playing Fire Rose while it is charging a shot, you may notice that the sound is higher pitched.
She, Drake Mech, Torchwood(with the Smoldering Madness ability) are the only fire variants that has visible blue flames.
She, Frost Rose and Nec'Rose are the only Rose variants to have unique eye colors.
She is also the only Rose variant that has smaller pupils.
She is also the only Rose variant that has eyelashes divided into three.
The homing upgrade icon has Fire Rose lashes.
Coincidentally, they are also charge shot variants.
And their projectiles accelerate much faster than Rose, Druid Rose and Party Rose.
