Vase Weed
- Not to be confused with Porcelain Vase Weed.
Vase Weed is a Spawnable Weed in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 and Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. He is a normal Weed that supposedly has grown upside-down into the vase he was planted into and now uses it as a highly protective form of body armor.
He is the plant counterpart of the Coffin Zombie in Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 and of Outhouse Zombie in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville.
His melee attack while in the vase is named Weed Bash which deals 25 damage and his melee attack while out of the vase is called Weed Whip which deals 15 damage. His long ranged attack is called Seed Spit which deals 25 damage.
Description
This Weed grew into a vase and plays it off like he did it on purpose. Luckily, vases are super protective.
AI Health
In Graveyard Ops, Vase Weeds will have a different amount of health depending on the difficulty level selected. The amount of health corresponding to the difficulty settings are as follows:
- Easy: 54 HP
- Normal: 72 HP
- Hard: 90 HP
- CRAAAAZY: 108 HP
In other modes, spawned Vase Weeds will always have a set health of 90 HP. The vase itself can substain 295 damage before being destroyed.
Primary weapon
The Vase Weed's primary weapon is called Weed Bash, it is a short range headbutt attack that deals 25 damage at a slow pace, when his vase is broken however, he will use an attack named the Weed Whip, which only deals 15 damage per hit rather than 25. Vase Weeds will prefer to use their melee attacks, moving in closer to the target to attack them directly.
Abilities
Seed Spit: A long ranged attack which deals 25 damage. Vase Weeds will only use Seed Spit when their target is first sighted a long distance away, before moving closer towards the target to attack using their short ranged primary attack.

Trivia
- His vase may be a reference to the brown vases in Vasebreaker, a Puzzle Mode which has either plants, zombies, sun, or plant food hidden in vases.
- Like the Porcelain Vase Weed, he supposedly grew upside-down in the vase. This can actually happen in real life, as evidenced by experiments conducted in zero-gravity aboard the ISS (the International Space Station).
