Super Sticky Goop
Super Sticky Goop is an alternate ability for the Chomper. Unlike the normal ability, it fully immobilizes zombies for 4 seconds, but deals less damage to zombies, only deals a total of 10 damage, recharges slower, and doesn't reduce the target's sensitivity the way regular Goop does. Like most of the other alternate abilities, it was first introduced in the Garden Variety DLC. It takes ten seconds to recharge.
Stickerbook description
This goop is sooo sticky that Zombies are not even able to move when they get hit by it. Let's say it together... "Now that's Sticky!"
Comparison to vanilla counterpart
Pros
- Zombies cannot move, which denies their chances of falling off a ledge to escape
Cons
- Lower damage
- Higher cooldown
- Unlike regular Goop, The target's sensitivity isn't reduced, allowing zombies to more easily attack you while gooped
Strategies
With
Due to its higher cooldown, lower damage output, lack of sensitivity reduction, and insignificant upsides, it's almost always a better decision to use regular goop. If you are using it, try to make sure your Super Sticky Goop will guarantee a hit on a zombie, as its high cooldown will severely punish you if any zombies escape. It can also be used as a self-defense if you are being chased by fast zombies such as the Engineer.

Trivia
- The description says that zombies cannot move when gooped with it, although they can turn around.
- If an Engineer is gooped with it while on a Jackhammer, they will still be able to move, albeit very slowly.
- Unlike the original Goop, this is green instead of purple.
- The icon shows a gooped shoe. If one would look closely, it is the Foot Soldier's shoe.
