Sproutrage is a Plant Battle Leader in Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville. They are a Weed with a very high health and massive damage buff, able to instantly vanquish nearly every character. Sproutrage's zombie counterpart is Just Brad.

Origins

Sproutrage's name is a portmanteau of the words "sprout", referring to Sproutrage being a Weed, and "outrage", referring to the massive amount of damage that Sproutrage's melee attacks deal.

Strategies

Sproutrage is one of the most unique Battle Leaders due to the fact that they are an extremely buffed Weed. Getting hit by their attacks is almost guaranteed to be fatal, as they're able to deal 250 damage with their melee alone. Thankfully, unlike normal Weeds, they'll never use their ranged attacks at you, so taking them down should be easy as long as you keep your distance from them. Using Super Brainz or Crater Maker is strongly discouraged as close quarters combat is impossible because of their powerful melee attack.
