Stronger than its Peel Shield counterpart, this shield can withstand more incoming damage, but has a much shorter duration. It also changes color so you know when it's almost destroyed!

Mood Shield is Citron's alternate ability of Peel Shield obtainable from Rux's Bazaar and the After Party Upgrade. It does not last as long as Peel Shield, but has more health and changes color depending on how much damage it has taken. It starts off as blue, then changes to green when it's at medium health, then red when it's almost destroyed.

Origins

It is based on the mood ring, a ring that changes color based on its wearer's mood.

Strategies

Due to the fact that the shield lasts a lot less than its regular counterpart, the Mood Shield should only be deployed during combat, as using it while sniping would not only reveal your position due to its noticeable blue color, but it would be a waste as well. Because of this, the Mood Shield would be great on the Iron Citron, as his primary weapon is mostly focused on close quarter combat. The 150 damage that the shield absorbs can help in one on one fights, but be sure to save the shield in those situations.
