Plant rating and evaluation

Peashooter: 5/10. Weak, because it only shoots one pea at a time. It's useful at first, but later on, there are better plants like Repeater and Gatling Pea.

Sunflower: 10/10. Produces sun. Is needed for all levels.

Cherry Bomb: 8/10. Useful when there are lots of zombies and in huge waves.

Wall-nut: 6/10. Useful in Adventure Mode and ZomBotany, but Tall-nut is better, since it can block jumping zombies.

Potato Mine: 6/10. Useful in the start of a level when earning sun since it's cheap but useless later on because it takes time to prepare.

Snow Pea: 7.5/10. It can slow down zombies but only shoots one pea at a time.

Chomper: 7/10. Can chomp a zombie whole but takes time to recharge.

Repeater: 8/10. It shoots two peas at a time. Torchwood can make the peas stronger.

Puff-shroom: 7/10. Useful in night levels since it's free, but is weak and short-ranged.

Sun-shroom: 7/10. Useful in night levels when earning sun since it's cheaper than Sunflower. Sunflower is better in survival, since it can be upgraded to Twin Sunflower.

Fume-shroom: 7.5/10. Fumes can pass through screen doors and all zombies 4 squares away are damaged.

Grave Buster: 9/10. Removes graves to allow more space for planting but takes time.

Doom-shroom: 8/10. Can destroy zombies in all lanes but leaves a crater.

Lily Pad: 10/10. Allows planting non-aquatic plants on water.

Squash: 8/10. Is cheap and squashes all nearby zombies. Useful in emergencies.

Jalapeno: 7.5/10. Can destroy a whole lane of zombies. Useful when there are Digger Zombies, Balloon Zombies, Imps, Zombonies and Zombie Bobsled Teams.

Tall-nut: 9/10. Can block jumping zombies and is stronger than Wall-nut.

Cactus: 5/10. It's weak and it wastes space. Two Cattails are better than six cacti.

Blover: 8/10. It can blow all balloon zombies and fog. I use them in day, night, and roof to blow balloon zombies. I use Cattails in pool and fog.

Flower Pot: 10/10. Allows planting on the roof.

Umbrella Leaf: 8/10. Protects plants from bungees and catapults.

Marigold: 5/10. Is used in Last Stand when earning money and is good to use with Gold Magnets. Is useless in other levels since it wastes space.

Gatling Pea: 9.5/10. It does heavy damage to zombies and Torchwood can make the peas even stronger.

Twin Sunflower: 10/10. Produces two normal suns (50 sun) at a time. It saves space by having two Sunflowers in one square.

Gloom-shroom: 9.5/10. Does heavy damage to groups of zombies around it.

Cattail: 8/10. Two Cattails can take down all balloon zombies on screen.

Spikerock: 8/10. Protects plants from being hit by vehicles or Gargantuar. Very useful in Bobsled Bonanza.

Gold Magnet: 5/10. Only used for money making in Last Stand and Survival: Endless.

Winter Melon: 9.5/10. A good plant for Survival because frozen melons do heavy damage to groups of zombies and slows them down.

Cob Cannon: 8/10. Useful in Survival: Endless, where there are lots of zombies.
