Prior to the 7.4 update, Jurassic Marsh - Day 40 was the 40th day of Jurassic Marsh. Upon completing the level, the player receives a money bag.

As of the 7.4 update, level expansions were removed from the world maps and placed into epic quests. Because of this, this level is no longer accessible from the map, and must be accessed when the epic quest is available.

Waves

The small number next to the zombie icon means that zombie will always appear in that lane, with 1 being the topmost lane and 5 being the bottommost lane.

Strategies

Strategy 1  (Contains premium content)

Strategy 2 (Modern Day Gems)

Plants required: Dusk Lobber, Moonflower, Squash or Boosted Primal Potato Mine, Hurrikale, Primal Wall-nut, Puff-shroom, Optionally perfume-shroom (I didn't use)

Setup a Moonflower colony in the third and fourth ranks. Use puff-shroom & Primal Wall-nut to deal with the first few zombies, planting primal wal-nuts in the fifth column. Start Planting Dusk Lobbers on the second column, preferably in the middle. You can also use the first column if you need to. Generally planting in the first or last column is not recommended, because of the ankylosaurus. You can charm the first stegosaurus. (If you brought Perfume-shroom). 4-5 dusk lobbers in a c shape on the second and first column should be sufficient. Use primal Wall-nut at the ends of the first and last row, and use hurrikale if pterodactyls start attacking down the middle row. Use squash for the gargantuars and jurassic rockpunchers, or Hurrikale. You will have very few sun most of the time, so spend it wisely. (Its also why its not recommended to bring cherry bomb).

Plants you can replace: Primal wall-nut with Explode-o-nut (you can plant in 9th column)

Hurrikale with Teleportato Mine

Also bring Spear-mint for extra sun if you want.

Strategy 3

  • Your Puff-shrooms act as your primary static damage that costs 0 sun, the first two zombies that appear are easy to shutdown and the upcoming ones should also be a similar case, however due the Raptor that roams the area will push them forward it will tend to be a little bit difficult, in this case use Cherry Bomb, Primal Potato Mine and Chili Bean as effectively as possible, as they will be primary use is to get rid off any zombies really close to your base OR finish off high health targets.
  • Use Sun Bean on a Amberhead Zombie or a Jurassic Fossilhead followed by giving them a Chili Bean for instant sun production, at the cost of 100 sun cost investment, though by this point, this amount of sun on top of the few Primal Sunflowers you've planted should sufficient for the rest of the level.
  • An Ankylosaurus will right before the 2nd flag, use Perfume-shroome asap otherwise they will easily overwhelm you with one single use of knockback.
  • Boost your Primal Potato Mines for more effecient clearing, though this is purely RNG, but its recommended when a wave occurs, as it will be able to clear a huge majority of them, leaving a few to be finished off by a Cherry Bomb, another Primal Potato Mine or the Puff-shrooms that should be spammed everywhere.
