Sun Bean (阳光豆; pinyin: Yáng​guāng Dòu) is a hybrid plant exclusive to the Creativity Mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Original Edition. It is a hybrid of Coffee Bean and Sunflower.

Sun Bean produces 15 sun every 25 seconds. After two minutes it will grow in size and begin producing 25 sun instead. Sun Bean can also be planted directly above other plants, and can not be destroyed in any way except for crushing attacks (and only if it's in the same tile another plant) or an explosion from Jack-in-the-Box Zombie.

Origins

Sun Bean originates from the popular Chinese mod 植物大战僵尸杂交版 (Plants vs. Zombies: Hybrid Edition), created by 潜艇伟伟迷 (SubmarineWeiWeiPVZ).
