Nezha Shooter (哪吒射手; pinyin: Nézha shèshǒu) is a plant in Plants vs. Zombies: Endless Edition. It is one of the Heroes. It fires peas in 3 lanes.

Origins

It is based on a Threepeater and Nezha, a protection deity in Chinese culture who appears in multiple popular stories and myths, such as Journey to the West.

It being based on a Threepeater is most likely a play on Nezha's ability to turn into a large three-headed six-armed version of himself.

Abilities

Nezha Shooter has following abilities:

• If player unlocks its "Lotus Resurrection" skill, it respawns instantly after death.
• Its peas can pierce through multiple zombies if "Eye of Heaven" skill is unlocked.
• Its has a chance of shooting fire peas if the player unlocks "Fire Bullets" skill. However, the chance for each pea to be set alight is independent from other peas. In other words, a different amount of peas become fire peas every time it shoots.
• Its fire rate can be increased by the "Fast Fire" skill
• It can fire three Universe Rings that pass through all zombies in three lanes, dealing huge damage to them if the "Universe Ring" skill is unlocked.

Strategy

Compared to Wukong Pea, Nezha Shooter is weaker in dealing with high-health threats, but perfect in dealing with swarms and early game.

It is excellent in 2-11 because of its ability of piercing through zombies and attacking multiple lanes.

Trivia

• It has the eyebrows of a Repeater, but has three heads like a Threepeater.
  • However, the appearance of its stalks are closer to that of Threepeater's Plants vs. Zombies 2 appearance.
• Despite being able to pierce through zombies with the "Eye of Heaven" skill, it cannot damage the zombie part of Screen Door Zombie, meaning it cannot thaw it either.
