Crazy Flamevine (疯狂炮仗花; pinyin: Fēng​kuáng Pào​zhang Huā) is a plant in the Chinese version of Plants vs. Zombies 2 introduced in the 3.5.1 update alongside the Ztalemate Escape gamemode, and Gramophone Datura.

Crazy Flamevine tosses three firecracker bundles down its own lane and in the adjacent lanes above and below. These firecracker bundles stun zombies the hit as well as dealing 15 damage continuously for 2.5 seconds.

Origins

Flamevine

Crazy Flamevine is based on the flamevine (Pyrostegia venusta), a species of vine in the pyrostegia genus that is native to South America. Its firework based appearance and attacks are based on how, in Chinese, the common name for the flamevine is the 'firework flower'.

Plant Food effect

When given Plant Food, Crazy Flamevine will lob firecrackers at every zombie on screen, which will stun them and deal heavy damage in a single tile.

Costumed

When Crazy Flamevine is wearing its costume, the firecrackers it lobs will deal continuous fire damage to affected zombies for 6 seconds.
