Cupid Hypno-shroom Shooter (Cupid魅惑菇射手; pinyin: Cupid Mèihuò Gū Shèshǒu) is a hybrid plant exclusive to the Creativity Mode in Plants vs. Zombies: Original Edition. It is a hybrid of Hypno-shroom and Cupid.

She will shoot hypnotizing arrows 7 times, each shot having an arrow in her lane and an arrow diagonally through the adjacent lanes in an acute angle, totalling to 3 arrows per shot. The shots are done consecutively every 2 seconds without the need of having any zombies on her sight, after which she disappears once all the 7 shots are done. She can hypnotize all kinds of zombies, including Gargantuars.

Origins

Cupid Hypno-shroom Shooter originates from the popular Chinese mod 植物大战僵尸杂交版 (Plants vs. Zombies: Hybrid Version), created by 潜艇伟伟迷 (SubmarineWeiWeiPVZ). In the mod's English translation, it's known as Cupid-shroom.

The plant is partly a hybrid of and is inspired by a Cupid, a mythological figure that represents love in Ancient Roman culture. The uneven sun cost "520" is the numerical representation of love in the Chinese culture.
